Our Vision

About the Founder
After a successful career in the movie business, working on over 65 films including Cape Fear, Friday Night Lights, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and Steel Magnolias, Bill McConnell founded Hope Breaks Through. A chance notification on his phone revealed shocking statistics about child trafficking, sparking a profound realization. Leveraging his extensive film industry experience, Bill decided to produce real-life stories to support nonprofits worldwide in their fight against child sex trafficking.

Recognizing that nonprofits often have limited marketing budgets for PSAs, Bill McConnell founded Hope Breaks Through to bridge that gap. Bill is building a library of short, impactful films about child trafficking. He partners with individual nonprofits to customize these films by adding their contact information and donation opportunities, helping them raise awareness and
funds effectively.
